Find Virtual Assistant – Guide For Online Businessmen

Outsourcing Services

When I find virtual assistant to interview, I tell them that you are not going to get rich from the salary that I pay you, but you will benefit from all the resources that I will share to you. That is something that my team knows and that’s how I also find other people to work for me.

I’ll be very open, I’ll explain how my SEO company business works, I won’t hold anything back. They can ask me, I help all of my staff outside of hours. If you’ve got any tasks you want done or little projects, I help each one off them start their own little offline businesses and that’s the type of person I’m attracting in.

Here’s one thing that you need to remember when hiring a staff, be careful of who you attract. You can include in the job ad that you have hired people who are business minded enough to move on after few years of working for you. That is something that you are proud of because you want them to be successful as well. That is the same expectations that you have from them when they work for you. These are some important things to consider when thinking of coming up with a perfect job ad.

I got a feedback that hiring personnel enjoy the process of applicant selection when they hire virtual assistant, as well as the interview process. That’s the same thing when I want them to work for me. I give a task that will help them develop their skills, something that they like and so they will do their best to do this for me. That’s a good win-win situation isn’t it?

Look at your virtual circle first. This is a crucial step towards finding the right people to work for you. When I say virtual bench, this is a group of people that have worked for me in the previous months, doing little jobs here and there. These are the type of people waiting for a good opportunity to arrive.

I am also careful when I find virtual assistant to do some SEO services for me. I don’t hire them just because they are star players. I just wait for a job role to emerge and then I ask them to do it for me.

Let your team jump in the same boat as well. Ask them to help you. If you got A players, then most likely they will also recommend A players, same goes when you have B players. This is a good way to find the right people to work for you.

Something that I want to have a look at later on down the track is offering a little bit of a bounty as well. If someone recommends someone and then they come on board, then we give the person who recommended that person a little bit of a kick back to say thanks for keeping your eyes open. What does that do? That gets your staff members when they’re out and about thinking in the back of their mind, is this person right for the job. It’s like they’re constantly scanning for that.

I mainly use a website called JobStreet for my Philippines staff. At the moment I’m really tending towards the Philippines. A lot of people are, there are a lot of internet marketers talking about it. The Philippines is great, they’ve got an excellent work ethic, they are very honest, the geo arbitrage opportunity is fantastic. I can still pay them very well and they can live a very good life and they love working for me because I pay higher than the normal internet marketer. I’m not going to try to get them for $2 or $3 an hour, I’m happy to pay a little bit more because I want them to appreciate working with me.

JobStreet is a really good one, it’s like SEEK for those in Australia. We’ve got SEEK or Monster. They’re websites where you can advertise for people who might work in your office. It’s the SEEK of the Philippines. A lot of people don’t talk about it. There is bestjobs.ph as well but they made some changes a little while ago and can make it a little bit more awkward for people outside of the Philippines hiring staff.

JobStreet is a really good place to go to find virtual assistant. It is price prohibitive for some people. It’s not just one of those job ads you place it and it’s $5. It’s $120, but for me to hire an A player, I don’t mind paying $US120 or $US140.
